Which of the current crop of portable HD players have optical out? And how is the quality of the optical out?
I am debating whether I should get a portable HD player for transportable use along with my home headphone amp, or get mini CD deck for transportable use with my home headphone amp.
The HD player route should make more sense, since I can use lossless compression and have most of my music collections at my fingertips.
