Hey guys,
I've had a look around for reccomendations but most reccomend headphones with an amp. How ever I will be using these headphones for my long bus journeys and I assume amps are not very portable. I was looking at beats but I hear they're aweful although they sounded good to me as I listen to alot of dubstep and drum and base.

As the title says, over ear headphones, for around £200 although can spend a little more.

They will be used with my iPhone 3g or iPod nano third version.

Reccomendations for headphones I can get in the uk only please :-)

thanks in advance.

Audio Technica ATH-M50, Ultrasone HFI-780 (I prefer the audio technicas), Beyerdynamic 770 (these might be out of your price range.)

These seem to be the big three as far as electronic, drum&bass, etc goes.

Just for yucks I just played "Archangel" by Burial to see what some dubstep would sound like on the ATH-M50 and it sounded really excellent. Strong suit being that the bass doesn't run over into the mids and obscure the vocal range.
