Portable Forum clean up.. an idea

Hi All...

We all know that the portables forum can sometimes get a bit hectic, and with differences of opinions, can often get heated... Obviously, when we're passionate about things tempers can run high etc, but - this needs to be kept in context of the relevant threads...

To which end, and this of course would be anonymous, I would like to trial having people PM me with a link to a thread / single post if they have concerns within a thread, as well as hitting the report post to a moderator button.

I can say, considering the amount of bad karma that we get in here sometimes, that there are surprisingly few reported posts, and - well, i'd just like to tidy up the forums a little, so - if you see a post / thread that looks like its on its way to oblivion.. then, let me know

Never the less it's a great idea, we need to get rid of these fake/fanboy/have nothing to do with reality opinions.

I'm hoping when you said "the amount of bad karma" you weren't referring to the player though

Can we sticky this thread? I love the idea, it works well on other forums i've visited, but sometimes its hard to find out who i should PM for some clean-up help. Can you also post the list of moderators who can help keep this place clean?

I concur the the forums could be the "Apple" of his eye, especially if the approach is "Zen" like.
