So my new S8 meeds help and I'm not getting another phone until somebody does front facing stereo speakers and a proper DAC/Amp experience...I'm holding out hope that LG/HTC/Samsung trends toward this sooner or later. The S9 sounds like it MIGHT go with stereo speakers and further AKG tuning at least...LG could follow, and lord knows that HTC just needs to reintroduce the headphone jack and listen to its customers.
But anyway, I need more juice and a better sounding audio experience as a whole. I'm looking at the Fiio K1 and both the black and red Dragonflys...any thoughts on any of these? The red is a bit expensive, but is it worth it over the black or even the cheap little K1? Any other solutions or suggestions? Kind of looking for a cost conscious solution but would pony-up if worth it. Just curious with how they would pair with a smartphone.
