Portable cans suggestions I & II (Merged)

If I were you, I'd get the KSC-35's AND the Sennheiser HD495's....

You seem to have a very.....lax definition of the term "portable". The KSC-35's follow the strict definition of the term, and I think the 495's follow a looserr definition, which seems to be yours.

Isn't this the same thread over again?

But seriously, I'm going to merge them -- it will be much more useful for those reading the thread.

I still say give the KSC-35 a try. They're great, cheap, perfect for portable use.

If you don't like 'em, you can return 'em, and they're only $30.

...that's right! MacDEF moderates/controls this place. Kewl...

I really had no idea there were so many Mac fans here (or does it just seem that way?) I am a big ol' Mac addict too (anyone who isn't surely just has a lot of time on their hands...have spent the entire morning working on a family PC trying to get a USB printer and USB PCI card *stable,* so that they'll work *without* me having to tend to them every other day [literally]...PCs are beyond awful).

Anyhow, thanks everyone for the explanations and help. I really appreciate it.

Best,
Matt

V6s+velour are a good combination.

Oh yeah, I just spent all morning getting my PC working again. I spent my new computer budget on my audio rig, so the Mac will have to wait...
