Hi All, few simple questions. What are the few portables that have socket opamps for easy rolling? I own the VERY nice MK1 which is a KILLER amp with plenty of power and has a socket. But my next quest is a portable with a built in charging circuit that uses 9v batteries but also has a socket opamp.
Any companies making a great amp this way? THX...

Price doesn't matter but like to keep it below $200 but all options are welcome even if saving up might come into play.

The iBasso D1 and P2 have socketed op-amps and a charger. However they do not use a 9 Volt battery, instead they use thie own propietary battery.

The MiniBox-E and MiniBox-E+ is the similar. It has op-amps on sockets and a charger but it uses a propietary battery.

The XM4 can be ordered w/ a charger for 9 Volt batteries and the op-amp is socketed.

That is at least 4 amps.

Hey thanks, you know after a small quick thought, An internal charging circuit really doesn't matter. I can just buy a home charger for batteries..Duh!!! Brain Fart

I've checked out the Xm4 before, it looks feature packed but would it be much of an upgrade to the MK1? I was also looking at the Headsix but a few people have said it has a few problems, channel imbalance, stripped bolts, funny battery holder...ect!!!

IMO both the P2 and the MiniBox-E+ are amazing. Great bass control, punch, separation, clarity, detail, soundstage, depth, and layering.

Xin Supermacro amps... currently I'm using 2x BUF634 & 2xOPA627 for this little amp, some said this a bit overkill but I found it to be a huge improvement over stock, and hell better than my previous D1 amp (AMP only, the DAC was soo good).

But today I got Lisa III ... holleh sheet...
