Portable amp to go with MS1?

I recently ordered the Alessandro MS-1 from the Alessandro website. Been one day, and allready the waiting is killing me, as this will be my first pair of good cans!!!

So I thought while I waited I would sort out which amp to buy when they arrive.

I am looking for a portable amp to suit my new MS1's. I have looked at many, but I have no idea which one to buy. Which portable amp suits the MS1 best?

my first amp was the ldm paired with my sr-60's and 225's. i liked the ldm a lot, more than my brother's pa2v2.

Ive ordered a PA2v2 from Gary Ali at www.electric-avenues.com, still havent recieved it yet. Let me get back when ive tried it out. $56 inc shipping to Sweden is pretty decent.

I don't know how well they combine with the MS1, but the mSEED LABS Faith AMP and the Xenos 0HA-REP are my current favorites. Another potential favorite being the Pint variation by MisterX.

Hmm I think the PA2V2 would probably be best, from what I've read.

Its also pretty cheap!

Especially if you think the MS1 lacks bass. Instead, if you want a 'durable' amp, one that has a refined and neutral sound, better look into something else.

Now, don't forget that the MS1 are really easy to drive. You may not need an amp at all. Keep the money for something else.

Don't forget also the Go-Vibe. I have one on order based on the excellent reviews here. I may be pairing it with the MS-1 also.

I myself use MS-1 with PA2V2. It's not a big improvement. The bass is tighter and the sound is a bit more refined.
