HI, everyone,

I want to get an amp to drive my er4p and YUIN pk1(150ohm). my source is ZVM and i like classical. my budget now is $200. Is supermini my best choice? I heard that it is for er4*. and I also wander how supermacro sounds better than supermini after Xin's recent improvement. Does it worth $150 more? and also campare with supermicro.

BTW, my connect is DIY canare cable instructed by headfi.org.Cheers!

I have not listened to the latest changes in the Supermacro IV. The Supermini has internal switches one of which converts the P to an S. I has a very nice and dynamic sound which approches the Supermicro IV. It is also much smaller than the Supermacro IV.

I use a Porta Corda with the Ety ER4-S for portable and listen to classical exclusively. IMO it is the best combo I've used so far (with a RWA Imod as a source).

I've got the same phones, and am looking for a new amp - what other amps have you tried?
