I just got this amp a day ago. After I plugged it into my USB port on my computer I could hear this noise.
I'm not good with terms used in the head-fi world, but it sounds slightly like a mic with boost enabled through my headphones.

Is this a known issue? And is there something I can do to get rid of it?
Not sure if it really matters, don't notice it while playing music, games etc at high volume.

hehe..another thing. I can't really hear any difference on quality with my DT-770 when connected to the amp or soundcard I have. Should I?
Or maybe I need higher quallity of music files to do so..current songs are in 192kbps.

At least I can play a lot louder with the corda amp, probably could blow my hearing

Mine never did that. Did you try a different USB cable?

How much else do you have plugged into the USB hub and is active?

If you try routing from earphone jack to input with a battery, does the sound go away?

I could with HD650s. Could be your sources. Check your gain to make sure it is right for the 770s.

It's hard to justify now until you determine if there's a problem with that amp, but a 24-28vdc regulated power supply made a big difference on the Senns.

hmm..not sure about this hehe. But I think maybe when I connected the jack/cable I had connected to the amp and plugged it into the soundcard in
my computer it might have switched over to my soundcard as default playback device or something. And which also might have led to
my mic activating as it is plugged into soundcard as well. I'm such a noob lol.

Anyways..I unplugged the jack from soundcard and it was gone. At least almost, need to volume up the amp to 75% or something before there is any noticeable noise. But I don't think I'll ever go higher than that anyways, it's loud enough for me now

I'd keep troubleshooting; you shouldn't be getting noise out of a MkIII with no input. But it's your dime and time so if you are satisfied, so am I. Enjoy!
