Porta corda 2 question

OK, the porta cora is almost finished, simple stuff.. great project Dr. Meier!!!

one question....

i have spare parts.....

they look sort of like a resistor, but absolutly strait sides, like the vishay-dale resistors, but only have a single wide yellow band.

i got three in the kit, but have no idea what they are for, and i have no pads left to mount them anywhere...

here is a pic of the part....

Those are jumpers -- 0 ohms. I don't have a Porta Corda so I can't tell you where they go, but did the kit come with a schematic? If the PC is like the Corda HA-1, these jumpers are used to configure the power supply for 120V or 220/240V operation.

never seen those before.... so no spare parts then....

There were jumpered connections, but i put a piece of wire across the spaces.

thanks for the quick answer... now on with the testing..

crossed fingers...
