Popping sounds on PCDP amp.

On Paul McCartney's "My Love" (Wingspan master), I get a consistent popping sound on the cymbals using my Panasonic SL-MP35 PCDP headphone out. I don't have the problem with my other PCDPs or my Airhead. Can anyone tell me what this is about? Also, it's not going to mess up my phones is it?

Oh, that's most probably just the usual distortion you get, when the amp section can't deliver enough power to the headphone and temporarily breaks down.
