There's no box for "I want *both* SACD AND DVD-A". That's the only sensible choice!!!
Who cares which format predominates if all future CDPs and DVD players can play back either format?

There is no "format war"!

I really don't think they'll me a war anyway. I really don't see either of these catching on with the masses.

For the head-fier's though. I'm thinking SACD.

I hope this statement is true, it would certainly alleviate some of the issues over "format war concerns". But I will definetly wait till Sony announces a DVD-A compatible player before making such a bold statement.

I personally chose SACD, because in the price range I was looking at (read cheap), I was able to find a source that did everything I needed (DVD, CD, MP3) and basically got SACD for free.
