Of course, as everyone already knows this is Labor Day weekend. Kewanee, Illinois, the town I live in, is the hog capital of the world, and we celebrate "HOG DAYS", not labor day. People from all towns around the area come to Kewanee to ride the rides, and party.
In the last 3 hours, I have heard so many people get busted I don't know how the police department we have could possibly keep up.
One thing is for sure, I’m glad I’m not the stupid idiot I was when I was in my early twenties. They don’t slap your wrist anymore; they throw your ass in the slammer. D.U.I. isn’t cheap, and fighting outside a bar is a felony. I’m glad I do my partying at my friend’s house, or at home. I believe the Kewanee police, and fire departments are earning their money this weekend.
