Does anybody know of any companies or services near the US border that help people(especially canadians) receive packages and mail(like a PO box) and you can pick it up. I am living in Vancouver, Canada, btw.

I want to order the Altec Lansing im716 from amazon.com and they don't send electronics to Canada. I mean, where am I gonna find a good pair of IEMs for 70 bucks? :P

You might want to take a look at some of the private mailbox stores in Bellingham. The UPS Store (formerly Mailboxes, etc.) rents private boxes and you could get one there. Also, I think the US Postal Serice would rent you a box. Rates are affordable, too.

The only catch with private and USPS boxes is that they'll make you sign a 6-12 month lease. That'll increase your cost.

Small price to pay for living in Vancouver, anyhow. That's one of the most beautiful cities I've ever visited.

A lot of stuff can't be shipped to a P.O.box. Or should I say, won't.
Also, at least with the post office, there is a residency requirement.
I second the suggestion to call the UPS store. See what they have to say.

One other thought, make a friend there in Bellingham.

I keep a PO Box in Miami. It's a Spanish speaking country located very near to the United States. I'm usually Ok so long as I have map quest. Heaven help me if I need to stop at a gas station for directions. But I digress...
