I will more thoroughly test out the iphone connectivity next time I get a chance and post it.

Can you try putting your source in your back pocket? I've found on the shure BT cable the connection is better (no dropouts ever) when my phone is in my back pocket.

We have multiple apple devices here, including iPhones. No dropouts experienced from close range.

Any comments from any purchasers (or PlusSound themselves) about video lag? Would really like to buy a set of these, but it's a non-starter if they're going to suffer from lag/sync issues when watching video.

I noticed very minimal lag (still plenty watchable) from my laptop which does not have aptX support. From my cellphone which does there was no perceptible lag.

@B9Scrambler does your Bluetooth battery indicator actually ever show at 100% charged? Mine never shows more than 60% + I'm no way getting anywhere near 10 hours of battery. 8 at a push!

I thought it did but I use it more with the Shanling M1 which doesn't support the indicator than my phone. Will have to charge it up and check, though I know for sure it reflects when the battery is getting low. Might also be dependent on the device and version of Android (I'm assuming that's what you're using) since the indicator being native to Android is new. I'm running an LG G5 with Android 7.0.

The earphones I use it with are pretty efficient and I listen at low volumes. I tend to get more life out of my Bluetooth devices than most as a result, usually matching or exceeding the rated hours. What I find loud seems to be average to low-ish for most people.

Edit:

Seems it doesn't though I could swear it did. I know for sure it reduces to a small red/orange bar as the battery gets low enough.

I have done a couple of overnight test to verify the battery runtime when streaming music over aptx at quarter volume.

So far the cable always dies just short of 8hrs.

I also noticed that the audio indicator for low battery only chimes when there is a couple minutes left to full drain.

Battery life varies based on codec and volume levels. aptX is using more transmission than lower ones such as SBC and AAC.
