My twins turn the big 1 in 3 weeks!! Or 9-13, as we call it at home.
P.S. Babies and Ety's don't mix. You see, their cribs are right next to my desk. When I'm immersed in music, they can wail to their hearts content - and I am completely oblivious - until Mom wakes up and walks into the room.....

Although music was always a bigger part of life (I play several instruments, albeit pretty badly and just for fun), I was never into higher end gear until my first kid.
There's nothing better than putting on headphones and a record after you're done with work and have put all the kids to bed.
I know a friend who was also in a similar situation as you are. I convinced him to buy my Senn HD545 for when he has to stay awake & look after his baby girl (coincidently) at night.
What an excuse eh? Oh well, anything to get another fellow Head-Fi member.
