Which IEM would you go for at the price level shown?

a) JAYS d-JAYS @ $108

b) Ultimate Ears super.fi 3 @ $91

These are the cheapest prices I have found from online retailers (not ebay or amazon) and included in the price is international shipping, so this would be the final cost of the IEM to me.

There are only two options listed becasue these are the two models I have finally narrowed it down to. Have considered pretty much everything. Ety is out becasue I don't want to be replacing filters every so often. Mylars are out - I just want something a bit sturdier and something that looks a little better. UM1 is out becasue it only comes with comply tips which would have to be replaced regularly. Atrios cost more than I am currently willing to spend. IM716 is out - there is no longer any support for it.

You should have a option called neither. Get a Crossroad X3 and you will be happier than getting any of the option you stated.

Well I don't want to go X3 becasue while I realise that they are no doubt the best value, I don't really like how they look and I'd like something more durable becasue these are going to get handled a fair bit - at the gym, on the move etc.

The UE3s have replaceable cable. If the wire gets snagged, you can easily replace it with another one.

X3s are good for their price but fail resolution/detail wise to armature driven IEMs.
