Skylab did a sterling job in his comprehensive review of portable amps. I often come back to this site just to read his analysis of a particular amp.
I vote you sticky his summary.
Thanks!

I don't see why one person's own subjective opinions on a group of amps should be stickied in this forum. He might have done a great job on the review, but I don't see why an impressions/review thread should be stickied here.

Impression threads like Skylabs are merely personal preferences and opinions... and NOT based in fact or objective measurement. Sticky-ing preference-based impression threads will mis-lead members to believe they are fact.

please do not sticky impression threads.

It should be under featured reviews honestly. t-bonners 20 home amps made it...

I thought at first that Skylab's review didn't qualify for the "featured review forum" because it wasn't considered full magazine lengths, but like MaloS pointed out, t-bonner's 20 home amps are very similar in structure. Skylab's is more organized in my opinion.

I agree, it should at least be in the review section and there enough other impressions following the reveiw from other people that would make it more objective than one single person's veiw point.

Its on the first page all the time anyway. Its a great review and fine the way it is now. However if it was compiled with other reviews of many of the same amps, that would be helpful.

It is not right now.

It should be in the Featured reviews sub-forum. It is quite often not on the first page of the amp forum. It maybe very short reviews and more impression like, but it is 20+ amps. I can't see 20 magazine length reviews of individual amps happening. This is a valuable tool for those starting out. I know I found it extremely helpful for spending my money!

But it was not my only source of information at the time.
