Hi I would like to get a Cd player.

Budget: 300-800 usd (or euro 200-700..)
Use: use with my AD826 headphone amplifier throught the RCA output (headphone AKG271)

Timbric: crystal clear sound in the midrange area, best for the vocal female performance. Not fatiguing. Controlled bass but not too much hammering. Datailed on the low level but not metallic.

Type: new, not second hand

I've heard the Rotel RCD-1072, I believe the model number is, which goes for something like $695 U.S.D. and it sounds FANTASTIC for the money. Very clear, detailed, vigorous sound.

Decodes HDCD, too, if you have any encoded that way.
