Please recommand some good "Rock" opamps (besides AD843/825)...

So far I like the OPA627 a lot, but it is only for Vocal and Classic etc, a bit too soft for Rock stuff. I am using AD843 for Rock and pop, also the AD825 seems to work quite well. Do you guys have any recommandation on other super Rock chips? Thanks for all your inputs....

Where is this opamp going? DAC Output stage? Buffered amp? Unbuffered headphone driver?

AD8021, LT1028. LM6171 is kind of strange because when operating normally, is a bit too cold and sterile while biased into class A - is a bit too warm and syrupy sweet IMHO.

Great suggestion - yeah! Class A biased LM6171.

Detailed, dynamic yet still organic.

Thanks guys. It will be used in a buffered amp.
I will give the LM6171 a try when I have a chance. But I am not sure if the Stax SRM-001 can handle the 3600v/uS slew rate though...
