remember that alot of air cooling has to do with your room ambient temps. during a hot day don't expect any air cooling miracles. however, do your best to keep all of your drives in the 30s and you will be ok. low 40s is acceptable, anything above that and you are seriously cutting down on the life of that hard drive.

my temps right now with 1x120mm intake doing about 25 cfm and 1x120mm doing the same are 39 on a seagate 400gb, 38 on a maxtor maxline III, and 31 on a samsung sp1614n (i think this temp is off, but it's also worth mentioning this is the quietest drive)

That CPU temp is dangerously high. You'd better throw a better heatsync and fan on that thing fast.
