please help - where can i padding for headband?

So I have an ath-es7 and know matter how much I bend it and do the mod the headband still seems to just bother my head. It's just the hardness of it does. So I'm wondering what i should use to pad the top of the headband? I really have no clue what to use and if anyone else does this or has done this. Thanks.

1) Take a sock

2) Put the sock on your head

3) Put the headphones on your head

hmm, not quite the answer I was looking for lol. Maybe i should have said. Something that looks relatively... likes it's supposed to be there.
