Hi everyone,

I like to browse this website but only now i made an account, i want to get a new headphone and am currently having a Steelseries 9H (i bought mistakenly, wanting to sell them asap in my country).
I love to listen electro, house, hiphop, rap, pop music and also love to play games primarily FPS ones like BF4, CSGO etc. Kinda love competitive gaming as sometimes i join LAN parties (thats why i bought an SS 9h which i regretted).

I would like a recommendation on what to get with my price range of $200 or Rp. 2.000.000 in my local currency more or less and i have a webpage of a local retailer who i think have the most complete range of products to choose from.

Im also using an onboard soundcard, thats why i got the SS 9h cos it came with a "gaming soundcard" with it. Im willing to spend extra for a new soundcard if i can get the best out of the new headphone.

I will wait for the comments and suggestion, and i want to thank everyone in advance.

Cheers :)

Check out the Beyer DT 990 Pro in Amazon. It is having a sale that fits in your budget.

Good suggestion but be aware the Beyerdynamic DT-990 is an open headphone which does not isolate well (you may hear noise around you and people around you may hear your music). If this is an issue then maybe a closed Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm might be a better choice.

From the list of the retailer that you have linked the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 sounds pretty good and would fit into your budget. However they have just released an update version the M50x which (for me) sounds slightly better, has detachable cables and is a tad more comfortable. The price is only slightly higher and therefore should also be within your budget.

I would recommend an IEM for you're situation
Look into Zero Audio Basso , Audio Technica IM70 or Shure SE215
I think these would suit the music you listen to and run well via the sound-card
