Hi,

I've recently lost a portable FM radio that I like a lot, and I'm afraid that it's irreplaceably primitive. I believe it's from the 90s, and it's transparent blue, vaguely computer-mouse-shaped, and only has two buttons: "Scan" (move to the next available FM frequency) and "Reset" (which, I believe, cleans the palate of what the device has decided are valid frequencies). The only identifying text on it is "Digital FM" on the front.

Crazy as it sounds, I actually like the fact that you can't see what station you're on or what will scan up next. I'm not sure you can get a portable radio with this "feature" anymore, but I don't know a lot about the matter.

Does anyone know what this radio is, or where I can get/replace it?

Thanks so much.

Josh

If you want something with this feature real bad, you can have a pen my Dad bought me for Christmas with one of those radios built in.

It's been opened and giggled at once, then put in the drawer of useless presents for all eternity.

Almost any *really* cheap FM radio (less than $5USD) will have the no-display, scan feature.

Ebay is *full* of these type radios, and they're flooding the market.

Check discount stores and checkout aisles of supermarkets.
