Grado are strict on exporting, every country seems to have its own distributor's and they cannot ship to different countries.

Prices in the EU are normally a lot more expensive. If you want a new pair I have seen them on ebay.com from time to time where the seller will ship international. If you don't mind a used pair you should be able to pick them up in the FS section from a seller who will ship to Norway.

Aah, nice! Did not know any US dealers were allowed to export Grado products..
So with Elusive Disc you saved yourself a nice bucket of money.

I didn't think they were allowed to either, but it appears elusivedisc is above the law. Anyways, good luck with 225s!

Sure! But even with $60 in shipping and probably some VAT, on top of the $200 price, it will still be noticeable cheaper than here in Norway.

From Elusive Disc => $200 + $60 + 25% VAT = $325 (NOK 2,175)
From StereoFil => NOK 3,495 ($523)

I think that posting this info about the willingness of them to export (what BTW is not authorized to be done) definitelly will expose them and by next week probably, and thanks to this thread, they will not be able to carry Grado products anymore....good job...

...why not keeping the little secret via PMs among you guys....

Check out Jetcarrier.com
They will provide you with a pobox in the states, and airfreight/seafreight (depending on size/price as you choose) and deliver home to you with custom ckearance and collection of vat on behalf of the custom authorities.
Legal and rather cheap :)
Hear of a lot of people buying among other things Klipsch speakers and having them sent over as the price diff is sometimes ridiculous.
