Please help
How can i use my ipod (touch or classic) on the Zero 24 bit amp??

Is it possible?

If so what cable do i need and where could i source one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New to this and just finding my feet after listening to music through generic midi systems and crap speakers for years.
First step ... Decent headphone amp at affordable price
Second step ... start building decent home system.

Again any help would be greatly appreciated

would a dock connector and phono leads work?
or a 3.5mm to phono?

You'd need a ipod line out dock to rca cable.

I wouldn't suggest doing it though. The sound you get from a stock ipod won't sound fantastic even amped.

Using your pc as a source would probably be a better idea.

If you are talking about the Zero DAC/AMP then NO you can't use it with the Ipod. The Zero does not have analog inputs, which you would need for the Ipod. The only way you will get sound from the Zero is by using a digital input like coaxial or optical.

This above is not the whole truth though, as you could buy an ipod docking station named Wadia for around $349 (Wadia Digital to debut iTransport digital iPod Dock | iLounge News) and use it's digital output but it's a waste of money to buy it just so you can use the Ipod with the Zero.
