Does anyone here play PS3 online? If so, post your username! I'm trying to start a little Head-fi users group, so we can shoot each other in the face and all the other joys of online gaming

You have to go to "accessory settings" then "register bluetooth device". Once you do that, you must go to your buddy list and start a chat with somebody, then go to "microphone settings" and turn it on. Voila!

Did that. Can see my mic level and can hear other players in game... but it doesn't appear that they hear me. Wonder if I should be able to see my own chat icon in-game.

And no red ring of death. The 360 has a 35% failure rate. PS3 0.02%!

Yea, but as long as you don't send them into MS and waste a month, it's fine. They're super easy to fix.

I'm part of that .o2% I only had my ps3 for 2 weeks and it crapped out on me during a COD4 match. Luckily it's covered under warranty. My username is the same as my headfi name. Add me, just type headfi in the message and I'll gladly accept the friend invite when I get my PS3 back.
