stereo... the search is disabled so I cannot bring up the thread where this was discussed before.
something to do with minimal processing and add-on effects. also, you want the sound to be up close without delay so the simulated surround is not good either.

Yep 2 speaker setting is the way to go.
It's much cleaner than the headphone setting.
