Hi All, after losing 2 expensive portable DACs and headphones, I've decided that I need to get an audio player which can hold most of my music and where I won't feel too bad when I lose it. Problem is that everything I find takes micro SD cards only up to 256GB. Any suggestions for reasonably priced (prefer under $200) portable player which will either take a 512GB card or 2 256 cards and sounds reasonably good (I probably won't be driving my HD 800, more likely the campfire NOVA and using it for music in the car and teardrop camper)? I guess the other alternative is to buy 2 very cheap players which support 256GB cards such as the Hifiman Megamini or the Fios X1. Thanks for the help!

find a used onkyo dp-s1 (i found one for $160) which you can load with up to 2x400GB cards, currently i'm running 2x200gb without any issues, takes literally about 3 seconds to scan through them.

I second what iridium said, the sister model from Pioneer XDP-30R is as well great. balanced output, two microSD card slots - snappy UI and small size.

Thanks! Really appreciate it. I ordered the Onkyo (US $180 on Amazon, the Pioneer is 2x this).

Best, Lee
