I'm looking to recable my Denon AH-D1000 following this guide and was wondering if there are good places in the UK that sells these sort of equipments?

You'll find all those parts from Rapid Electronics or Farnell. Rapid is much cheaper but Farnell have greater selection. BTW both don't sell "audio equipment' per se, but they are component distributors.

I agree with the above, Farnell and Rapid are probably your best bets. Just to add, there are 2 Farnell websites (the normal one and CPC) - I'm not exactly sure why there are two but they do seem to differ slightly, so you might want to check out all sites 3 for the best prices.

I think Farnell bought out CPC who were a separate company. CPC has less stock than Farnell, but has other random things that Farnell don't have. I think CPC are more educational biased.

There's also RS components which have been around forever.

Ah, thanks for clearing up the CPC thing.

RS components is a good one too (can't believe I forgot it). I've had to use these websites recently for a university project and they've been very good (although I ordered through the uni), so the OP should have no problems.

I can't seem to find the mogami cables in any of the mentioned places...is there some sort of parts number or something that's used for these? I've googled and only found some place called Canford that sells the mogami 2893.

Canford are good albeit limited on occassion for parts, can be a bit pricy but they also have a clearance section where u can pick up some great bargains.
