Well, I brought my brother some PK3's a while ago but he has lost them, so now I'm going to buy him some different ones. Has to be around the PK3 price range and maybe slightly more fashionable looking? What is out there?

As the law of nature stated, anything on PK3's price range that looks fashionable won't sound as good. The question is, can your brother takes the drop on SQ?

Probably, he's not much of an audiophile in the slightest.

For earbud, either Sony MDR-E888 or Sennheiser MX series should fit your bill.

I second the Senn MX series. I have the ones without the inline volume control (MX400?) and bought 2 pairs for $9.00 (OEM) from an Amazon merchant about a year or 2 ago. I returned the PK2s because I like the Senns better. BTW, I have PK1s and they're much better but they should be because, gram for gram, they're (probably) the most expensive phones that have ever graced a pair of Golden Ears.
