These are what I usually use for portable music. They are about $40. I find the sound quality tolerable.

I recently got a set of Pixel Buds as a gift. They are about $100.
Google Pixel Buds A-Series True Wireless In-Ear Headphones (Clearly White) https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1635922-REG/google_ga02213_us_pixel_buds_a_series_true.html
But I got the gift receipt so I can return them for a $100 refund, and keep using the Sonys or presumably spend the $100 on anything else. I'm only interested in keeping the pixel buds if the sound quality is actually better. But I can't open them to test or I won't be able to return them. How do to they compare to the Sonys?
