IMHO, PotC was a great movie.. especially this summer. And yeah, I agree that it had some really humerous points to it..

Monkey Island rules.

As for the movie, I just saw it tonight and thouroughly (how the **** do you spell that??) enjoyed myself. Simply put, it's a pirate movie. What does that mean? That means you should drag your ass off your computer chair and see it. Yes, you. Now. Pirates. 'Nuff said.

It was better than Hulk and Matrix Reloaded (IMO

). Johnny Depp was the MAN in it. Seriously, he's so cool. I'm going to be going around saying to people "Ah'm Captain Jack Sparrow" for the next month.

Orlando Bloom gave a great performance as well and Keira Knightley...wowzerz. What I wouldn't give to be on a stranded desert isle with her...er...

Great action! No dialogue to groan at here, it was all very well done. Oh, the soundtrack was excellent as well, I'll be picking that up soon. Thumbs up, check it out matey or ye'll be walkin' the plank .
Arrrrr.

If you're gonna quote the movie, at least do it right.

"But why thee rum?"

Amazon sent notification that my copy is en route to my in-laws in CA. That means that in just about a month from now I'll have it here in my hot little hands. Why just today we got: The Santa Clause II; REturn of the Man from Snowy River; LotR II Platinum Edition; and Strange Brew. Looks like we'll be doing some wovie watching over the holidays. This time with some movies we haven't seen yet. (Well, I haven't seen Strange Brew since 1987 or so.

I never cared much for Jonny Depp but since it involved the Carribean,I thought I would give him another shot.
He has given me a new outlook on any future movies of his.
Extremely good movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
