I've been waiting for the M9 to get to Amazon and B&H had a new Pioneer XDP-30R on sale for $139,shipped, no tax.

Did I make a mistake or is even the M7 better?

I have the 30R and while I love the sound and the UI works well and has a lot of options. What I really dislike is the little volume knob as it is REALLY loose and does not lock in to set position, so it will adjust the volume any time you bump it..
I have read a !title about the XDP-20R and they have replaced the knob

I am sending back a pioneer DAP as it didn't have LDAC. My Fii0 m9 arrived and I love it.

It took me a while to learn though (a very stressed afternoon)

I am a big Qobuz fan and I am pleased it works.
