500+ Head-Fier
I bought the Pioneer SE-MJ591 headphones recently and realised that they are rarely or even almost never mentioned on Head Fi....why?...that is the question
. After many, many years of headphone collecting i have never encountered such an intriguing sound signiture from any other headphones as these. I can't figure out how such an intriguing sound can go largely un-noticed.

The imaging is something special, but they are very balanced headphones. They are quite similar to CAL's, only they have something more to their sound signature that is very intriguing. A stereophile reviewer once said they reminded him of the time he listened to $20K a pair, electrostatic speakers ( he was referring to the SE-MJ591's abillity to render the instruments).

The SE-MJ591's are seriously underrated..
