Im considering buying another stock model. My current one is pretty ugly with the mods i did to it. I want to make it dual entry with detatchable cables, do some cup modding and pad rolling to fix the treble roll-off, etc.

Akg pads sound awful.

Also amazingly the pioneer pads make my bass-light akg k340 sound better.

Do the pioneer pads just add bass presence? Do they interfere with the mids?
