I recently bought an Alps potentiometer from your website. How do you hook up this type of pot (i.e. which pins are for input, output and ground)?

I would also like to know if you have a technical drawing of this pot. I am particularly interested in the size of the shaft and that little tab right next to it. What their diameters are and the distance between the shaft and the tab.

Any info you can provide would be very much appreciated. Everybody else who is knowledgable, please feel free to chime in.

however, they only supply a CAD file in DXF format... the part number is RK27112 if you want to do some more digging!

With the pins facing up and the shaft pointing down:
Rightmost pins: Ground
Middle pins: Output
Leftmost pins: Input

The top pins are for the right channel and the bottom pins are for the left (or the other way around if you wish).
