I dare say this is the smallest amp on the forum. Soldered a LOD directly to the input of the E5 and removed the clip on the back, sanding down both the "hinge bump" the clip was attached to and the metal ridge that prevents the clip from sliding off stuff. The resulting E5 is about half as thick as with the clip and doesnt have a big jack sticking out of the input jack

agreed. I'm not ballsy enough to go soldering directly to an amp. I might if the soldering iron i have wasn't entirely too big for the application... its like using two baseball bats for chopsticks. and maybe if i had an E5, those are cheap enough that if I ruined it, I wouldn't be out too much money. it looks awesome though!

less is more? the love of the tinker? I'd do it too if I had the proper tools.. I can't leave anything "stock".
