the ES2s w/ the iPT is very sensitive. oh the hiss is very noticable. unless the song is really quiet w/ minimal instruments involved you'll hear it w/ the song, but other than that it isn't too big a deal.

I'm pretty sure using a low-gain amp would help quite a bit, but I'm not interested in doing that.

My new rig!! I got both the Zune and SR60 today. The Grados were an impulse purchase after I stumbled into a high-end audio store. I just spent 2 hours upgrading the hard drive of my Zune to 60gb--scary process! I thought I bricked my Zune for a while. I also have E500PTH's coming in this week.

Nice interconnect cable. I have the same one, but I modded it with a black tech-flex sheath.

Thanks, it's a nice IC but it's pretty stiff.

I'm going to get an LOD so I can use my Rockboxed Nano 1st Gen. and all my Lossless files.

Here's some pics of the Nano and Minibox:

Wow, the Minibox-E is tiny...

It's looks are deceiving, it's small, but it packs some very large sound. Check out the 31 amp review, even they're ecstatic about it.

I love my MiniBox-e! I loaned it to dw6928 who I believe is enjoying it as well.

It's such a great bargain.

A rechargeable, small, metal, great sounding amp that comes with a decent IC and a nice little wooden box.

Mines on its 40-50th hour (Somewhere around there) and it's sound has really opened up. The highs, lows, and mids all tightened up and the sound is becoming more revealing. This amp seems to be getting better every hour.

(The Bass boost and Soundstage buttons sound AMAZING when coupled with a movie/tv series like Band of Brothers, it literately feels like your there. Bullets zinging by your head and all. That being said I don't really find them useful when listening to music as it changes the sound and I like my components to keep things as neutral as possible. With it off however this amp seems to be very neutral, everything's even and nothing is pronounced or recessed.)

Can't wait till I reach 200 hours!

Indeed its a sweet little amp. I was chatting with Fang about it at headfest and IIRC... he said it was developed with the ER4 as reference, hence the P to S switch.
