Those look like black dn1000's?

Edit _ there tridents aren't they?

I think they're the Dunu DN1000. I just checked his profile, and he doesn't seem to own the Tridents.

The New Portable Rig...
German Maestro GMP 8.300 D Professionals with HM5 Pads
FiiO X3 with 64GB uSDXC
FiiO E12
DIY Interconnect and Lowepro Rezo 50 Case.

The 3M Dual Lock is a little high as we can't get the low profile stuff here in Canada...
Now if someone wanted to send me a chunk of the stuff, it would make this much nicer!

That is one sweet looking rig! The X3 or the DX50 will be my next DAP if I ever move from the IPC!

Hope it sounds as good as it looks!

That's a lot of bling! What am I looking at here?

iPod Video, JDS Labs C5, JVC S500.
DIY LOD, DIY Cable.
- 2x plussound 28 awg copper wire for the ground
- 2x plussound 26 awg cryo stranded silver + copper type 2 litz wire for left and right.
- Pailiccs plug
- Fiberglass sleeve

I made the cable for my HD600, it originally had 2 additional pure silver wire to go with the litz wire but I thought it was overkill for the S500 so I removed it.

It does sound very nice!

Before you buy, both players have firmware / hardware problems though, give a read in the X3 thread and here for the DX50.

I was reading a little earlier, kinda off putting, maybe I'll just focus on the home rig for now till that kinda stuff is sorted!

Still, a beautiful looking rig!

This is what I've been rocking the last few days. Samsung Galaxy S Captivate (Wolfson DC WM8994) to a Fiio E17 amp. Normally driving my DT880s, but at work using Bose IE2 's as its just more practical and easier. IE2s don't really need an amp, but it's there from my DT880s, so why not.

The Captivate has an extended battery, 3500mAH and is also in an Otterbox Defender case which has been cut to accommodate the extended battery.

I mainly use this to stream Spotify, which plays at 320kbs. It's not a bad setup and sounds decent.
