Sooo, i posted this in the general pictures thread, but just figured it also belongs here: Samsung YP-Q2>KZ ZST.
Total MSRP: 95$

This player is a bit thin and congested sounding compared to the x3ii, but still quite decent overall. I suspect the kz ZSR that are on their way to me will make a great couple for this little fella. I'm actually thinking of pairing the JAZZ 7.8 amp with it, i'd be still in the budget category, and it would match the player's size quite nicely, Can't find reviews on that amp, tho.

Fostex TE-02n + Motorola Moto G6 Plus (inside: CS47L35) 20+180€

Edit:After some research i have discovered, that the TE-02n has the same dynamic driver (DD) as the Sennheiser IE80, Fostex TE-100 or Fitear Air (Foster OEM MT009B). No wonder it's a (discontinued) hidden gem. The smartphone is also a hidden gem interms of SQ.

Sup Yo!
Been a long time...

Colorfly C3 & Koss KPH30i.
The Koss are quite a nice little headphone for $20 (on Drop), if you like the Porta Pro's you'll like these.

Indeed it has, good to see you still loving your C3 and 30i's:grin: I love mine as well, Kim still showing his love for the Walnut stack which we both have too:thumbsup: Heck I still have more fun with my budget stuff than the higher end stuff:rolling_eyes: Heck this little setup has not set me back more than $86 including the Topping ic and upgrade Kinboofi cable:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Benjie T6, Xduoo XQ-10 w/KZ ZSX:wink:

It's an awesome little rig for sure and those KPH30i are great bang for the buck.

Loving the QInpu, it's used every day with a pair of Dayton B652s at the store where I work. I stream Spotify from the Fire HD tablet to a TaoTronicsTT-BA07 receiver on the A3. :nerd::thumbsup:

I did replace the stock tubes with a pair of GE JAN 5670s, they are shorter so I removed the standoff and put both decorative rings together.

Nice, I replaced the A3 with the Jolida FX-10 as my desktop driving B652's with Dayton's Sub-80. I also changed my EL-84 driver tubes to the Genalex Gold Lions:slight_smile: Since the FX-10 does not have a headphone amp I also added the FX Audio DAC-X6 off Drop and man it is one sweet little unit:thumbsup: The A3 looks great and I'm so pleased it is getting daily use:beerchug:

I know Kim can relate to this rig and I’m amazed every time i listen to it, the Walnuts have that analog ambience that’s just incredible no matter what iem I use however the Havi B3’s are the ultimate at getting the Walnuts to sound so non-digital! I was laughing because there is the best iem’s for a $100 or less and this entire rig cost me $102. Plus “We don’t need no stinking screens”:)

As the Hammer would say "Can't touch this" especially for a grand total of $88 (Got the 668's for $38 and the Benjie T6/Xduoo XQ -10 combo for $50 on AliEx 11/11) IMHO the 668B is the Vandersteen 2C's of the Headphone world:wink: Got some Lyle playing "She's no Lady":beerchug:

Gonna try and revive this thread.

YJicm35.jpg

TCL A3 ($40) > 256GB microSD ($20) > Truthear Hola ($19)

Will probably pair this with some sort of a USB DAC/Dongle in the future.
