The ES18 is now available in black with a black cord, which looks very nice.

To me, spending almost $200 for a player and earphones isn't so cheap, although to others used to spending
thousands at a time on audio stuff, $200 must seem very cheap.

I like the idea of having the player and earphones together under $60.

I remember in the 90s I would spend around $100 for a walkman tape player, and around $40 for  earphones.

That $140 adjusted for inflation equals around $280 now. So buying a Clip+, memory card, and
Soundmagic ES18 all for under $60 is great.Less than 1/4 of the value I spent years ago, and
it is much smaller, and I have over 100x as much music with me.

I'm listening to the Clip+ and ES18 while writing this.

What are they ? ...do tell

Well the iem's are probably considered Oldskool now, they are the E2C Shure's which I beleive are the earlier model of the SE215's with my 7th Gen Nano.

Nice JK1, black is always pro looking. I love my vinyl but you sure can't beat walking around with enough music to fill a cargo van on your hip, sometimes quality/quantity meet in a happy place
