Since everybody has a Yahoo Album I got kinda jelaous and decided to put some of my stuff in one and showm it to you, hoping somebody would actually like it. The pictures are taken from what used to be my website (sorry, the naked girlfriend with wings picture, among others, are gone), so some of you migth know them already. As for audio related stuff, there are some plans for single driver speakers that hopefully, some day, maybe, will be turned into reality. Anyway, I felt the need to show them to you all.

As usual, feedback is welcomed and encouraged. Thanks.

Pigs is fast - just try to catch one. But be careful, the wild ones are downright mean.

Pigmode, how wild are you?

Too fast for myself even! I came back and saw your correction, edited my post, only to find you had already answered my unedited post. Whew!

Anyway, what draws you to horns? I ask because I am becoming very intrigued myself.

I'm the long snouted primeval looking black bristly kind with beady eyes. Why?

Well, for one, they are cheap to make and you get very good results for the buck. Actually, the Voigts were going to be my first project, but they are too big for my new apartment, so I guess I'll make (eventually) the horns, since the are smaller.

Grunt, grunt...

Onix, The Horns are cool, and they are only 30" tall. I understand some users are running them in dbl pairs, wired in parallel for greatly increased dynamics. They have a forum at Harmonic Discord.

if you ever do build those folded voigts i'd suggest trying them out in martin king's mathcad worksheets. i built a highly tqwt this summer, and i thought it sucked. after running the dimensions through martin's matchad simulation, the graphs corresponded very closely to what i heard (really big dips, peaks, humps, and holes all over the audible spectrum).

Hey Skippy. You are quite rigth, but I think that you actually must have an already selected driver in order to use the worksheets. And the selection here is somewhat limited. Just Radioshack, a local brand called Steren and a German brand named Otto.
Neruda:Thanks Pablo, but they are not fully my design. Actually, Rick pointed me to this guy's website where he featured the original Busch design and then explained some modifications. I just simplified it a little (very litle). And yes, that driver would work well, but as I wrote to Skippy, I have a limited selection of drivers here. I have the URL's from where I picked everything up somewhere. I'll post them later in the week.

Pig: I'll check that place you mentioned. I haven't built anithing yet, but in the meantime I am going to get as much info as I can. And, oh, yes, pigs are cool. They get to frolic in the mud.

Nick: I wish I could build and amp myself, but I just lack the knowledge. Perhaps I'll take an electronics course soon. That would help me to stop feeling embarased every time I look at your amp projects.
