Look for the uneven cord lenght!

Hi MartinB!
Search for "modded mx400" and you get my post as a result.
Basically, I removed the hard rubberry ring from rear side of the driver, replaced it with the white soft foam stripe and added the foam cube in the cavity behind driver. Next step was solder longer cord w. gold plated plug from aiwa earbuds.
Sound is great now, and so is the comfort.

I bet if sennheiser revolutionise their design .. they will sell like peanuts!!
I mean.. the sound is good but the shape is kinda ugly and big, and it's not like sony's loop behind the neck type
as the result it looks very old-fashioned
