I've only listened to my K701's through the Pico, either as a stand alone portable amp, or as a Dac (Dac is far superior by the way). I've read the various threads regarding the best Amp for the 701's. My question to you is, how much of a difference would there be between the Pico/Dac combo, and other more "suitable" amps that match up well with the 701's? I guess what I need to know is how much would I have to spend to hear an appreciable difference?
