I obtained this fairly good conditioned 1997 unit from a friend today. -was hoping it would be a D-465 though, since I've heard some good things about that similar looking model on these forums.
So far I like how the anti-shock stays disabled the next time the player turns on. There's also a lineout and volume knob (i like these). Headphone out is pretty good, as it seems to power the AKG K601 very nicely at 5/10.
It also has a Sony remote port and the screw-on 2xAA battery tube port on the back, however the previous owner did not have either of these.
Does anyone here have experience with this player?
