Great movie, great soundtrack. I enjoyed the movie more than I thought I would. Not really a award movie type of person but I must say that the Pianist is a tremendous film. I went out and bought the soundtrack becuase the movie was so inspiring and the soundtrack really stick in your head after the movie.

On to the subject. The Pianist sountrack, for some reason, sounds tamed and veiled. Ever since I got my amp (mint meta) I haven't experienced this type of sound. I tried it on several sources (computer, d-25s, and home stereo) and got the same result. Just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing. And perhaps that I got a bad disc

I do not own the soundtrack..but I agree with you on the film. It was a wonderful watch for me this past week.

The soundtrack CD has been sitting in my player since I bought it now. At the moment I dont feel very compelled to listen to other stuff in my meager collection. I just pump the volume higher than I would normally. That sort of fixes it.
