Hey guys, just wanted to give you a heads-up on a great deal. For many DSLR shooters whose cameras still take Compactflash, Costco is clearing the Sandisk Ultra II 2gbs out for only $19.99 each! I saw this over at POTN and went over to my local Costco and picked up a few. It's a bargain at that price as Compusa has standard PNY 2gbs on sale for the same price. It's cheaper than eBay and there are also no rebates to send in so if you need them, I'd pick a few up while they're still in stock.

Hmmmm, how coincidental.

If he said he bought it at full retail, I believe him. I just know a lot of people here are shooting Canon so I thought this might be a helpful pointer. I myself just picked up a 20D and was going to pick up the standard ones from Compusa before I saw the link over at POTN. I'd rather have Ultra II!

I too do not doubt him...just found the coincidence funny

. His price is still good, especially for us who don't have access to Costco (or the relatively cheap US prices in general)

i do advise anybody who is looking for memory to go there if they have a costco though... don't buy them from me

--- but if you DON'T have a costco...

Ultra IIs are the way to go! they're the best value for the money IMO, as Extreme III and Extreme IV only provide a slight improvement over Ultra II but with a decent increase in price

And especially if you have an XT/XTi --- then the Extreme III and Extreme IV really don't show their full benefits

If I had any money I would probably pick up a few but somehow, just somehow I seem to be getting by fine on two 1GB flash cards.

I believe RadioShak has Ultra II 2GB SD cards for $20 as well without any rebates.
