every time I try to attach a photo to a post I get a message that the file is too big. What is the easiest way to fix that? Thanks.

I always resize my pictures in Photoshop but if something like that is not available to you, hosting sites such as ImageShack offers a resizing option.

Some suggestions:
1. Used smaller images
2. Upload the images to a hosting service, then embed the picture into the post yourself.
