Hello! I'm new to this board so please go easy on me
.
So I'm looking for some budget headphones for about ~$80 or less. These will be used mainly for listening to .mp3's on the go, some .flac files, and occasional PC gaming. Sound clarity with a bit of bass is kinda what I'm looking for. Now I've done my share of looking around local shops and Googling about whatever I find, but I would like some of your opinions.
I've found the Philips SHP3000 here for ~$50 and the Sony MDR XB500 for around $70. You guys have the Sony on your recommended list, but has anyone had any experience with the Philips? Are there any other good headphone suggestions around that price point? Ones from Sony, Philips, Sennheiser and Audio Technica are welcome.
Thanks!
Edit: Found the Sennheiser HD 428 available for around $70. How about those?
